Community builders and tradesmen are invited to the free Builders’ Happy Hour, co-sponsored by Winona National Bank and Bub’s, to hear a presentation on Habitat for Humanity’s ReStoring Winona efforts. Local builders will be publicly recognized for their participation in this program.
The brief meeting will take place in Bub’s lower level on Wednesday, December 13, from 5-6:30 p.m. Beer, soft drinks and appetizers will be provided.
Business owners and project managers are encouraged to attend. If you missed getting an invitation and are interested in joining other tradesmen in the Winona area, please call executive director Amanda Hedlund at 507-458-9370. Reservations are required.
The event will feature an introduction to the Habitat expansion and provide a time to ask questions. Guests will hear about how the project will strengthen home repair and construction in the local community and how the ReStore saves contractors money by keeping reusable goods out of landfills. Habitat is excited to share what has been accomplished with the expansion so far, along with a look at what is to come. There will also be networking time with industry peers.
