Friday, November 25

"At 12:27 p.m. a 15-year-old Winona boy was spotted stealing a CD valued at $9.99 from Mills Fleet Farm, 920 East Highway 61. The boy left the store before being apprehended, so Fleet Farm alerted nearby stores. Half an hour later, the boy was apprehended at Target, 860 Mankato Avenue, after attempting to steal a CD valued at $13.99. The boy will be referred to the county attorney on charges of shoplifting.

Monday, November 28

"At 5:35 p.m. Theresa Kay Orlikowski, 46, Winona, reported that the driver's side window of her vehicle was broken while the vehicle was parked in a rear alley in the 550 block of East 4th Street.

"At 5:58 p.m. Scott Alan Parker, 43, and Debra Ann Kleiboer, 45, reported a burglary at their residence in the 200 block of East 3rd Street. Missing items include $350 cash, Kleiboer's checkbook and check register, a bottle of prescription pills and 16 DVDs. Entry was reportedly gained through a porch window.

"At 6:45 p.m. Phyllis Fletcher, 80, Winona, reported the theft of a purse containing $400 cash, credit cards and keys from her residence in the 750 block of West 7th Street.

"At 6:03 p.m. a 48-year-old Winona man reported being assaulted by Jeffery Lee Williams, 48, Winona. Williams was mailed a ticket for 5th degree assault.

"At 11:51 p.m. at the intersection of 8th and Huff streets, Alyse Marie Coates, 19, Winona, was cited for minor consumption.

Friday, November 25

"At 3:48 p.m. on Bridge Street in Minnesota City, a vehicle driven by Daniel Mendoza Lueuano, 19, Minnesota City, collided with a vehicle driven by Cheryl Lynn Harkey, 49, Winona. According to the report, Lueuano lost control of his vehicle and crossed the centerline, striking Harkey's vehicle head-on. Harkey and two passengers in the Harkey vehicle, 22-year-olds David Tyler Ernst and Jessica Thruben, were transported to Community Memorial Hospital by ambulance. Lueuano was cited for no Minnesota driver's license, failure to drive with due care and no proof of insurance.

Saturday, November 26

"At 10:24 p.m. on County Road 12 near the junction of County Road 11, Karyn Lea Stremcha, 41, Dakota, was involved in a one-vehicle accident. According to the report, Stremcha failed to negotiate a curve, and her vehicle went off the road and rolled over. Stremcha was transported to Community Memorial Hospital by Winona Area Ambulance Service. Alcohol may have been a factor in the incident.

Sunday, November 27

"At 4:25 a.m. on the Interstate 90 bridge over Highway 61, Bonita Jean Mundt, 43, Eyota, was involved in a one-vehicle accident. According to the report, Mundt lost control of her vehicle and went off the road into some trees. Nodine and Dakota First Responders used the Jaws of Life to cut Mundt out of the vehicle, and she was transported to a La Crosse hospital by Tri-State Ambulance Service.

Monday, November 28

"At 11:54 a.m. on Highway 248, west of County Road 27, Jose Guadalupe Rosales, 37, Altura, was cited for 4th degree drunken driving, no proof of insurance and no Minnesota driver's license. His blood alcohol content measured 0.11 percent.
