Theft/Damage

Monday, December 12

"At 2:55 p.m. Coca-Cola Bottling Company reported the possible theft of a vending machine valued at $2,000. According to the report, the machine was located in the lobby of Exhaust Pros, 327 Junction Street, which has since closed. The company attempted to retrieve the machine, but it was not there.

Tuesday, December 13

"At 6:06 p.m. Kari Ann Gunderson, 21, Winona, reported the theft of her wallet, which contained two credit cards, a check card, her driver's license and Social Security card. Charges have already been made on the cards at KMart and several Kwik Trip locations. Gunderson believes the wallet was taken out of her purse while at the Winona State University gym on December 12.

Wednesday, December 14

"At 4:08 p.m. Jennifer Mitcheltree, 36, Winona, reported that nine personal checks had been stolen. The checks were forged at local businesses, totaling $509.15.

Thursday, December 15

"At 9:15 a.m. Christopher Daniel Dennis, 25, Winona, reported that the driver's side rearview mirror of his vehicle was cracked while the vehicle was parked in the 550 block of West 6th Street.

"At 3:06 p.m. Carol Ann Schumacher, 59, Winona, reported the theft of a pair of binoculars (value $2,000) from her vehicle. Schumacher believes the theft occurred while she was shopping in the city of Winona.

Tuesday, December 13

"At 3:56 p.m. a hit and run accident was reported in the parking lot at Winona Senior High School. A witness gave officers the license plate number of the vehicle involved, and a 16-year-old Winona boy was issued a ticket.

"At 8:43 p.m. in the Winona Senior High School parking lot, Amishoov Ben Israel, 28, Winona, was cited for 3rd degree drunken driving, test refusal, open bottle and driving after revocation.

Wednesday, December 14

"Thirty-six alternate side parking tickets were issued.

"Seven non-injury accidents were reported.

Thursday, December 15

"Forty-nine alternate side parking tickets were issued. Forty vehicles were towed.

Friday, December 16

"Fifty-six alternate side parking tickets were issued. Thirty-nine vehicles were towed.

Thursday, December 15

"At 5:47 a.m. Sky John Folkers, 20, Black River Falls, Wis., was cited for minor consumption. Folkers was transported to Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center for detoxification treatment. His blood alcohol content measured 0.239 percent.

"At 2:38 p.m. a 15-year-old Winona boy was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of tobacco after school officials searched his locker. The boy was allegedly smoking marijuana on the bus to school, and the bus driver reported the offense to the school.

"At 11:40 p.m. Pamela Jean Stellenberg, 20, Winona, was cited for minor consumption at Gabby's bar, 179 East 3rd Street.

Friday, December 16

"At 12:24 a.m. at the intersection of 8th and Harriet streets, Hans Peder Fredrickson, 18, Winona, was cited for minor consumption. Fredrickson was transported to Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center for detoxification treatment. Fredrickson's blood alcohol content measured 0.212 percent.

"At 2:03 a.m. Jenica Lauren Lee, 19, Winona, was cited for minor consumption at St. Mary's University. Lee's blood alcohol content measured 0.254 percent.

"At 2:15 a.m. Larisa Jean Leapaldt, 21, Winona, was cited for loud party/noisy gathering at her residence in the 250 block of Lafayette Street.

"At 2:28 a.m. at the intersection of 6th and Lafayette streets, Tedd Werner Ammann, 23, Winona, was cited for disorderly conduct. Ammann was transported to Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center for detoxification treatment. Ammann's blood alcohol content measured 0.24 percent.

"At 3:00 a.m. Samuel Weaver Stenzel, 22, Winona, was cited for loud party/noisy gathering at his residence in the 150 block of East 3rd Street.
