Thursday, January 5

"At 3:31 p.m. Sierra Marie Doran, 20, Winona, reported that three of her shirts were stolen. According to the report, Doran left them overnight in a dryer at her apartment complex at 1621 Homer Road. When she came back in the morning, the shirts were gone.

Monday, January 9

"At 12:53 a.m. Walmart, 955 Frontenac Drive, reported that a window on an entry door was shot with a BB.

"At 1:23 p.m. John Bradley Payne, 22, reported that his vehicle was damaged while it was parked near his residence in the 650 block of Dakota Street. The rear window was broken, possibly shot with a BB.

"At 3:45 p.m. Matthew Joseph Mancuso, 31, reported the theft of digital camera (value $265) and wedding ring ($200) from his residence in the 100 block of East Mark Street.

"At 8:52 p.m. three 14-year-old Winona boys and a 15-year-old Winona boy reported that their wallets were stolen from a locker room at the John Nett Rec Center, 7th and Lafayette streets. The boys are missing a total of $55 cash and various identification cards and gift cards.

Tuesday, January 10

"At 12:16 p.m. Justin John Stoltman, 19, reported that his apartment in the 250 block of Olmstead Street was burglarized. Missing items include an Xbox, three Xbox controllers, a wireless network game adapter, a Nintendo Gamecube, and assorted video games and DVDs. The apartment was unlocked.

"At 2:03 p.m. damage was reported to a trailer located in the 1800 block of West 5th Street and owned by Willard Earl Sherwood, 83.

"At 8:37 p.m. a 14-year-old Winona boy reported that his duffel bag was stolen from a hallway at the Winona Middle School. The contents of the bag included an Ipod, a cell phone, a watch, a Winhawks jersey and a Columbia coat.

Wednesday, January 11

"At 1:20 p.m. Timothy Patrick Mulcahy, 45, Winona, was cited for shoplifting at Midtown Foods, 126 East 5th Street. Mulcahy allegedly attempted to steal lunch meat valued at $2.50.

"At 1:22 p.m. Congxian Grace Marter, 32, Winona, was cited for shoplifting at Midtown Foods, 1213 Gilmore Avenue. Marter allegedly attempted to steal $15.62 worth of food.

"At 5:21 p.m. Ryan Dale Gavin, 22, Winona, reported that his vehicle was keyed while it was parked at Wincraft. Jennifer Lynn Olson, 24, Winona, is being referred to the county attorney's office for 1st degree criminal damage to property, which is a felony offense.

Thursday, January 12

"At 1:47 a.m. officers responded to a complaint of a woman pounding on the door of a residence in the 350 block of East 10th Street. According to the report, when the door was answered, the woman ran away. The complainant then noticed a van parked in the middle of the street near the intersection of 11th and Liberty streets. The van, which was registered to Winona Heating and Ventilating, had been left parked in a fenced-in lot, according to an employee of the business. When the officers checked the lot, they discovered that the van had been driven through a gated area of the fence. No other damage was discovered. The female suspect has not been located.

"At 8:55 a.m. Dana Marie Salisbury, 37, Goodview, was cited for shoplifting at Midtown Foods, 1213 Gilmore Avenue. Salisbury allegedly attempted to steal two doughnuts valued at $1.30.

"At 3:00 p.m. George Robert Leifeld, 40, Winona, reported that his vehicle was damaged while it was parked near the intersection of Wilsie and 9th streets.

"At 11:35 p.m. Tara Lynn Corey, 23, Winona, reported that her vehicle was damaged while it was parked in the lot at the Winona Vo-Tech Airport campus. The driver's side panel was cracked and the mirror knocked off.


Wednesday, January 11

"At 1:16 a.m. at the intersection of 4th and Franklin streets, Denise Caroline Weinkauf, 23, Winona, was cited for 3rd degree drunken driving and disobeying a stop sign. Weinkauf's blood alcohol content measure 0.25 percent.

"At 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of 6th Street and 47th Avenue, Chardell Lou Holzer, 50, Goodview, was cited for 4th degree drunken driving and 3rd degree test refusal.

"Thirty-three alternate side parking tickets were issued.

Thursday, January 12

"Two alternate side parking tickets were issued.

"At 6:55 p.m. Matthew Thomas Gurney, 22, Rosemont, reported being involved in a minor accident in the parking lot at the Winona Mall.

"Six alternate side parking tickets were issued.

"At 10:45 p.m. Tyler Peterson, 22, Lewiston, reported that his cell phone was stolen while he was in the Altura liquor store.

Wednesday, January 11

"At 11:34 a.m. a Winona man reported damage to his vacant trailer at Bass Camp. According to the report, a window was broken on the trailer, but nothing is missing.


Friday, January 13

"At 12:11 a.m. Gale Peter, 29, reported a prowler at her residence on Valley View Drive in Winona. A deputy responded to the scene but could not locate the suspect.
