Wednesday, Dec. 13
13:16 p.m. - Citizen reported that a male subject was dropping off animals at an empty trailer home. Animals were transported to Humane Society.
Thursday, Dec. 14
12:02 a.m. - Officer issued citation for expired vehicle registration.
Friday, Dec. 15
7:18 a.m. - Citizen reported a dog running at large near WE Valley.
4:20 p.m. - Officer assisted with a motor vehicle accident. Subject was loading a vehicle on a flatbed when it rolled back and struck another vehicle. No one was in either vehicle at the time.
5:15 p.m. - Officer was requested to check welfare of a possible suicidal subject.
8:45 p.m. - Officer received bond from subject that had an outstanding warrant.
Officers issued a citation for expired vehicle registration, another for expired vehicle registration and failure to provide proof of insurance, and another for driving after revocation.
Saturday, Dec. 16
1:15 a.m. - Officer assisted the Winona Police Dept. with an attempt to locate a subject. Officer was unable to locate.
11:43 a.m. - Officer assisted the Winona Police Dept. with a fight involving weapons.
6:37 p.m. - Officer observed a vehicle traveling at a higher than posted speed. Officer performed traffic stop and was informed that driver had an outstanding warrant. Subject was transported to LEC.
8:10 p.m. - Officer received complaint of someone burning wood illegally in a trash can. Subject was warned and complied.
9:44 p.m. - Officer issued citation for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
10:19 p.m. - Officer received a noise complaint. Subject was warned and complied.
Sunday, Dec. 17
12:45 a.m. - Officer observed a young male juvenile operating a vehicle who was known not to be old enough to drive. Officer stopped vehicle and 15-year-old male driver was cited for 4th degree DUI, underage drinking and driving, no Minnesota driver's license, curfew violation, and underage use/possession of tobacco. A 15-year-old female passenger was cited for a curfew violation.
8:23 a.m. - Officer was called to dispatch an injured deer. Deer was gone upon officer's arrival.
10:08 a.m. - Officer observed a vehicle traveling at a higher than posted speed. Officer performed stop and issued a citation for driving after revocation, speeding 49/35, and no insurance.
11:20 a.m. - Officer received report of a lost cat. Cat is brown, black, and tan in color, no tags, and is declawed in the front.
Monday, Dec. 18
10:45 a.m. - Officer received report of a baby left sleeping in a car at Goodview Elementary School. It was determined that it was a doll.
2:27 p.m. - Officer was requested to assist Winona police with attempting to locate a driver who was canceled inimical to public safety. Officers were unable to locate vehicle.
