On November 28th, 2011, our sister, Kathryn J. (Koeth) Kleinschmidt, passed away in Michigan and joined the many Angels among us. She so loved Christmas, the best of all the holidays. We are sure she is at peace now with Him this blessed season. A memorial will be held in Winona, Minn., on June 9, 2012.
Born in Winona, Minn., to Arthur E. Koeth and Helen L. (Brezinski) Koeth on August 28, 1940, she was the fifth daughter among seven daughters. Kathy was a very considerate, loving, and giving mother to Natalie (Kleinschmidt) Korson, son, Arthur Kleinschmidt, son-in-law, Allen Korson, and special grandchildren, Kyle, Kayla and Alyssa Korson, all of Michigan.
Kathy is preceded by her parents, Arthur E. Koeth, mother, Helen L. (Brezinski) Koeth, husband, David Kleinschmidt, sisters, Delores (Koeth) Schneider and Cynthia (Koeth) Iverson, all of Winona, Minn.
Although she was suffering with cancer, she always maintained a positive and very strong ability to look on the sunny side of life and encouraged many to do the same. All who knew her from the cancer groups in Michigan related to her and her joyous personality. She is truly missed in Michigan, Colorado and Minnesota.
So Kathy...spread your wings...see the magnificent Colorado mountains, see all the beautiful sunrises, glorious sunsets, and put your toes in the sand any time you choose. One day we will fly with you.
Sadly missed by her sisters: Arlene (Koeth) Walker, Winona; Beverly (Koeth) Walker, Mabel, Minn.; Susanne (Koeth) Blanchette, Louisville, Colo.; and Rose Ann (Koeth) Adamczyk, Winona.
