His positions in sales and marketing management took him, and his family, to numerous cities in the United States, plus Singapore.

John retired in 2002 and, with his wife Patti, traveled the United States and part of Canada in their motor home before settling in Texas. In retirement, he volunteered as a tax consultant for AARP.

His hobbies, over many years, included; motorcycles, camping, boating on the Mississippi River, the Pacific Ocean, the Intercoastal Waterway of Tex., and his Corvette. John was also an avid reader.

Our family requests donations be made to ‘Toys For Tots.’ He was a great believer in that organization and its mission.

Over our many years, John especially enjoyed the vacations with our children and grandchildren. We are so lucky to have been part of his life.
