Piano and music were a large part of her early years, and throughout her life. She married Clifford Babcock on June 13, 1948. Jessie did secretarial work for many businesses, owned her own dress and craft shop, and lunch service, taught piano lessons and played for many churches in the area. She was a charter member of Lewiston Ambulance, American Legion Auxiliary, and St. Charles Senior Center. She loved singing in quartets, playing cards, gathering family genealogy, and going to Twins baseball games.
