‘A Slice of Hope’ event for at-risk teen girls April 30

“A Slice of Hope” pie and ice cream social will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Grace Presbyterian Church, Broadway and and Franklin Street, Winona, at 2 p.m. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help open the doors of Hope Harbor-Winona, a home for 13 to 17-year-old girls seeking re-direction and purpose.

Hope Harbor is an interdenominational Christian ministry established in 2005 in Marshall, Minn. The goal of this organization is to restore teens and their families whose lives have been crushed by substance abuse, sexual abuse and exploitation, pornography, eating disorders, self harm, relational aggression, cyber bullying, and much more. Claudia Stenson, Hope Harbor founder, often says: “We don’t fix teens. We build families.”

“A Slice of Hope” will feature a presentation of the mission and goals of Hope Harbor and testimonials from clients and staff, followed by a slice of pie and ice cream.

This event is open to the public. To attend please RSVP on or before April 26, 2017, at 507-453-0086 or online at winona@hopeharbormn.org.
