Police: Wis. man suffers life-threatening knife wound

A Wisconsin man was injured after he sustained a knife wound to his arm. Trempealeau County deputies initially reported that the injuries were life-threatening. On Tuesday, Trempealeau Lieutenant Wayne Dahl reported that the man appeared to be recovering.

On Friday, April 21, at 11:38 a.m., deputies responded to a report of an altercation between a 36-year-old Eleva, Wis., man and 28-year-old Glenwood City, Wis., woman at a residence on South Main Street in Eleva. During the incident, Dahl reported that the man was cut in the arm by the woman. Dahl said that the incident is currently under investigation. “We’re trying to sort out what transpired at the residence,” Dahl said, adding that they didn’t know if the man was stabbed in self-defense.

No one has been arrested in connection to the incident. Officials said that the man was flown to a hospital for the treatment of life-threatening injuries.
