Board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist Eileen Reardon, MD, joined Winona Health’s Women’s Health Center.
“I was looking for a place to relocate from Colorado to be closer to my mother who lives in Hudson, Wis.,” said Dr. Reardon. “I chose Winona Health because it felt like home, and I really liked the staff here. I also love water, college towns and smaller communities.”
An experienced physician, Dr. Reardon has been caring for women for more than 15 years. She earned her medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora and completed her obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency at Regions/Ramsey Medical Center-University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She conducted her senior medical student research project at Harvard University Medical School in Boston.
“My father was a pediatrician,” said Dr. Reardon. “During medical school, I was interested in neonatal medicine, but in my third year of residency, two enthusiastic colleagues told me how interesting OB/GYN could be. No day is ever the same. It is so special to be part of delivering a baby and having that unique connection with the family.” She also enjoys being able to help women improve their quality of life through surgery when necessary.
In her free time, Dr. Reardon enjoys swimming, playing golf, hiking, biking, spending time with her family and caring for her pets.
Dr. Reardon joins Women’s Health Center providers including Troy Shelton, MD; TinaMarie Strecker, CNM; Tara Suffrins, CNP; and board-certified visiting physicians Cynthia Bradley, MD; and Kenneth Crabb, MD.
