Tuesday, July 25


• At 11:44 a.m. an adult male reported that someone broke a window on his vehicle while it was parked on the 200 block of Chatfield Street.
• At 1:55 p.m. a 13-year-old Winona boy was cited with minor possession of alcohol following a report of someone having alcohol on the 650 block of East Third Street.
Wednesday, July 26
• At 12:29 p.m. officers cited Craig Robert Neyers, 43, of Winona, with theft after he allegedly left Freedom gas station without paying for gas valued at $20.01.
• At 5:15 p.m. an adult female reported that someone entered her vehicle while it was parked on the 900 block of West Ninth Street and stole two bags of clothes.
• At 11:26 p.m. officers took Christopher John Everitt, 45, of Winona, into custody for driving after cancelation inimical to public safety following a traffic stop on Seventh Street and Druey Court.

Thursday, July 27

• The Winona County Attorney’s Office filed charges of domestic assault causing harm and fifth-degree domestic assault causing harm against Jack Charles Kluver, 29, of Winona, following a report of an assault at a residence on the 500 block of East Second Street on July 22. An adult female was reportedly attacked with a metal baton, and Kluver allegedly punched her multiple times in the face.

Tuesday, July 25


• At 9 p.m. deputies responded to a report of a car crash on Highway 61 and Little Smokies Lane. Deputies reported that the vehicle was wedged in an embankment between the bluffs and the highway. The driver, a 47-year-old Winona woman, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of a possible neck injury. Deputies reported that they believed that alcohol may be a factor in the crash, and a search warrant was executed for a sample of her blood.

Wednesday, July 26


• At 1:22 a.m. deputies reported observing a vehicle driving 87 mph in Stockton. Deputies said that they attempted to pull over the vehicle, and they observed the vehicle leave an embankment and travel into a yard on Highway 14. The driver reportedly fled from the car. In the vehicle, deputies allegedly found what they believe to be marijuana.

Thursday, July 27


• At 11:56 p.m. deputies pulled over a vehicle traveling on County Road 12 in Ridgeway after reportedly observing the driver littering and driving 40 mph in a 30-mph zone. Deputies cited a 16-year-old La Crosse boy and a 16-year-old La Crosse girl for possession of a small amount of marijuana; a 17-year-old La Crosse girl for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; a 16-year-old La Crosse girl for possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and littering; and a 13-year-old La Crosse boy for possession of drug paraphernalia.
