A Matter of Faith: Is you-know-who preeminent?

We must not offend anyone by mentioning you-know-who, so let’s permanently lock the doors to all the churches in America. Let’s keep our Christian faith to ourselves. Don’t utter even a peep! We must not offend anyone, so let’s prohibit prayer in school. We must not offend any woman, so let’s legalize the extermination of unwanted babies. We must not offend people of different religious beliefs, so let’s silence all those who want to even mention You-Know-Who. Let’s put an end to any semblance of Y-K-W.

You-know-who is everyone’s best friend, but some contentious adversaries of Him want to make it illegal for anyone to bring up their best friend’s name. They even want to make it illegal for His name to be visible. Such absurd thoughtlessness has brought America to its present state: good is now bad and bad is now good. It’s now legal to prohibit the majority while the few are pacified. This is called asininity. Look it up if you don’t know it.

Can anyone truthfully say that school prayer had been harmful to America’s children? Can anyone truthfully say that allowing unwanted children the basic right to life is harmful? Can anyone truthfully say that simply talking about Y-K-W would be detrimental to the listening passerby? Absolutely not! So why do these people protest? It’s because of unarguable, undeniable, hate. Pure and simple.

What should we do with the phrase “under Y-K-W” in our Pledge of Allegiance, crosses and symbols that bring Him to mind, our currency that states “In Y-K-W we trust,” and those who want to praise Him? Why are we always catering to the disgruntled one? Shouldn’t our obvious concern lie with the 99 percent? For example, if 100 people were attending a family reunion, and sat down to say a prayer before their meal, should they listen to just one objector? Should they allow such an individual to be appeased while planting seeds of indignation into the hearts of the majority? I ask you to use your conscious and your common sense. Will we, or any other nation for that matter, be better off without Y-K-W and His blessings? Enough of this nonsense. The rules of the bitter, hateful, and unethical, will never be good for anyone. We know what we must do: Let God into our hearts and culture once again. Make and keep Him preeminent in all our lives.

Ponder Luke 15:14-7.
