Carol M. Schuh, age 94, of Winona, passed away, surrounded by her family, on Monday, March 5, 2018, at Saint Anne Extended Healthcare, Winona.

Carol Maxine was born on December 24, 1923, in Winona, to Franklyn and Rosalie (Loshek) Goltz. On May 24, 1947, she was united in marriage to Harold Schuh at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Winona, and he preceded her in death on July 26, 2013.

She was employed at Northern States Power (NSP) for many years as a secretary and later worked at Choates Department Store as a clerk. Carol was a life-long resident and was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. She was a member to many civic organizations in Winona and she taught organ lessons at her home for many years.

She is survived by two sons, Richard (Jewel) Schuh, Altura, Minn., Gerald (Patricia) Schuh, Minnesota City, Minn.; five grandchildren, Scott (fiancé Rory Anderson) Schuh, Melissa (Ryan) Henry, Chris (Sara) Schuh, Aileen Schuh and Holly Schuh; two great-grandsons, William and Finley Henry; and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Franklyn Jr. and Neil Goltz.

Private family services were held.

Being a cancer survivor herself, Carol requested in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society, 2900 43 Street NW, suite 350, Rochester, Minn., 55901.
