Summer Sundays at St. Pauls

The vestry and staff of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church invites you for coffee, a tasty treat and lively discussion on the topic “encountering evil in everyday life” from 10-10:45 a.m. in the parish hall for nine Sundays in June and July, 2018. St. Paul’s is located at 265 Lafayette Street (corner of Broadway and Lafayette). There is a wheelchair accessible entrance from the church parking lot.

There will be a different subtopic on each Sunday, from June 3 through July 29, so feel free to attend all discussions or drop in when you are able. Several books will be referenced, including the Holy Bible and M. Scott Peck’s 1983 book, “People of the Lie: The Hope for Healing Human Evil.” Copies of both of these books will be available at the discussions.

Prior to the discussion, there is a 9 a.m. Eucharistic service in the sanctuary, and all are welcome to attend services at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

Founded in 1856, St. Paul’s is an active faith community whose members provide outreach in the immediate neighborhood of the church, in the greater Winona community, and in the Diocese of Minnesota. The church’s mission is to worship God in community, help one another, reach out, and build the church.
