Ann Peterson, 82, of Winona, died on August 25, 2018. She was born the 10th child of William Henry McNally and Myrtie (Davis) McNally at Prairie Island on June 26, 1936, and lived her entire life in the Winona area. She married Raymond Lafky in 1957, was later divorced and married Gordon Peterson in 1978.
Ann graduated from Winona Senior High School and worked most of her working years at Merchants National Bank where she retired as vice president, trust department, in 1995.
She is survived by her spouse, Gordon; her children, Michael Lafky (Jackie), Stockton and Ellison Lindahl (Andrew), Shakopee, Minn.; stepsons, Jeff Peterson (Robin), Winona, and Greg Peterson, London, Ontario; nine grandchildren, Veronica and Victoria Lafky, Sydney and Wyatt Lindahl, Ashley Erickson (Josh), Summer, and Hannah Peterson, Nicholas and Emily Peterson; and one sister, Lila Valentine; and was preceded in death by her parents, three bothers and five sisters.
A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Wesley United Methodist Church.
