Winona Police

Tuesday, September 11


· At 1:24 p.m. a Winona man reported theft of prescription medication from his mailbox on the 150 block of East Fourth Street.

· At 6:56 p.m. Brandon Grant Prestridge, 20, of St. Peter, Minn., was mailed a citation for violating a harassment-restraining order after he allegedly contacted a Winona woman via Snapchat.

· At 7:58 p.m. a Winona man reported the theft of a Playstation 4 and some money from his residence on the 450 block of West Broadway.

· At 10:55 p.m. police assisted a man locked in a laundromat on the 500 block of Center Street.

Thursday, September 13

· At 8:52 p.m. a vehicle was found with its window broken out near the intersection of Huff and Sarnia streets. Police were unable to locate the owner.

· At 1:20 p.m. police responded to a report of an uncased rifle in a silver truck in the parking lot of Minnesota State College Southeast. They were unable to locate the vehicle.

· At 9:51 a.m. a woman from Vista, Texas, reported the theft of a Specialized bicycle with a value of $2,130.

Friday, September 14

· At 5:02 a.m. police stopped a driver for allegedly speeding near the intersection of Eighth and Stoobin streets. The driver, Marshall Francis Kronebusch, 24, of Winona, was cited with possession of a small amount of marijuana.

Tuesday, September 11


· At 2:03 p.m. Selina Ann Pfund, 25, of Rollingstone, was cited with misdemeanor theft after she reportedly admitted to taking a $246 money order from a woman in Rollingstone.

Wednesday, September 12

· At 5:22 p.m. deputies responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash in the parking lot of Sidetracks Bar in Minnesota City. Steven James Tofstad, 26, of Winona, reportedly backed his car into another vehicle. He reportedly showed signs of intoxication and was arrested for driving while intoxicated and third-degree test refusal.

Thursday, September 13

· At 9:13 p.m. a deputy observed a driver take a U-turn and pull up behind the squad car near Winona Road and Bridge Street in Minnesota City. The driver, Deangelo Marcus Carson, 31, of Minnesota City, reportedly showed signs of intoxication and was cited with third-degree driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content measured at .12 percent.
