Winona Police

Friday, January 25

• At 8:01 p.m. police arrested Brandon Paul Sebo, 46, of Dakota, Minn., and referred him to the county attorney for potential charges of second-degree driving while intoxicated and driving after cancellation inimical to public safety after officers stopped Sebo for reportedly having a cancelled license. He reportedly had a blood-alcohol level of .13 percent.

• At 9:25 p.m. police arrested Michael James Gierok, 48, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of violating a domestic-abuse no-contact order after Gierok allegedly arrived at the residence of the person who holds the order.

• At 10:32 p.m. a 20-year-old woman reported that another woman had assaulted her at a party on the 250 block of West 11th Street. The assailant allegedly kicked her in the chest and hit her in the forehead with a glass bottle.

• At 10:37 p.m. police cited Colby Matthew Williamson, 19, of Winona, with possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped Williamson on 10th and Huff streets for reportedly driving without the use of headlights and located a marijuana grinder in his vehicle.

Saturday, January 26

• At 1:34 a.m. police cited Adam David Esser, 24, of Beloit, Wis., with fleeing officers on foot, trespassing on railroad property, and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers observed Esser driving his vehicle on railroad property. Officers later found the vehicle parked and observed Esser walking away with another individual. Both subjects allegedly fled when officers turned on their police lights. Esser was located on the steps of a porch in a nearby backyard and was apprehended.

• At 9:59 a.m. a Winona man reported the theft of a blue Mongoose bicycle from his residence on the 820 block of West Fifth street.

• At 10:38 a.m. a Winona man reported the theft of a $60 two-inch receiver hitch, along with the rear license plate with the code 316 HVZ from his vehicle on the 50 block of Links Lane.

• At 12:15 p.m. a Winona man reported the theft of his black Natko-brand electric bike from Westgate Bowl.

• At 12:25 p.m. a Winona woman reported damage to the front bumper of her vehicle in the parking lot on the 100 block of West Broadway.

• At 4:15 p.m. police cited Anthony Joseph Aunan, 48, of Winona, with theft by shoplifting from Fleet Farm.

Sunday, January 27

• At 2:42 a.m. police cited Brian Matthew Bublitz, 32, of Winona, with fifth-degree domestic assault after Bublitz allegedly argued with a woman before pushing her down and pulling her hair on the 100 block of East 10th Street.

• At 12:15 p.m. a Winona man reported the theft of his jacket, keys, and wallet from Gabby’s Bar the previous night.

• At 6:07 p.m. police cited Eboni Lashella Bryan, 31, of Winona, with theft by shoplifting, and Quysharra Shaneakqul Fields, 24, of Winona, with theft by shoplifting and trespassing at Walmart.

Saturday, January 26

• At 11:51 a.m. deputies cited Connie Pearl Corcoran, 63, of Winona, with failure to yield at a stop sign after a three-car collision on County Road 25 near Lewiston-Altura High School. Corcoran was transported to Winona Health for the treatment of minor injuries.
Sunday, January 27

• At 8:55 p.m. deputies arrested Michael Louis Bottcher, 29, of St. Charles, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after deputies reportedly located Bottcher on County Road 37 off Highway 14 with his vehicle in a ditch. The deputy reportedly detected signs of alcohol consumption and arrested Bottcher after field-sobriety tests. Bottcher reportedly had a blood-alcohol content measured at .12 percent.

Monday, January 28

• At 7:46 p.m. deputies arrested a 15-year-old girl and referred her to the county attorney for a potential charge of misdemeanor domestic assault after the girl allegedly attacked a 13-year-old girl, then attacked a 33-year-old woman attempting to break up the fight in Hidden Valley.

Saturday, January 26

• At 1:36 p.m. officers responded to a one-vehicle crash on Westbound I-90 in Dresbach Township. A 19-year-old La Crosse, Wis., woman reportedly lost control of her vehicle on the icy road. The driver was transported to Gundersen Health Systems for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Sunday, January 27

• At 2:02 p.m. officers responded to a one-vehicle crash on Highway 61 in Winona. An 87-year-old Winona woman reportedly lost control of her vehicle at milepost 31 and left the roadway, entering a ditch and colliding with a tree. The driver was transported to Winona Health for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

• At 3:41 p.m. officers responded to a one-vehicle crash on Highway 61 in Winona. A 30-year-old Dakota, Minn., man reportedly lost control of his vehicle at milepost 25 and left the roadway, entering a ditch and colliding with a billboard. The driver was transported to Winona Health for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
