The Cotter Junior High music department will present its annual junior high Pops Concert on Thursday, May 16, at 7 p.m. in the John Nett Center gymnasium. The junior high choir and junior high band will perform some upbeat, fun, and contemporary pops music. The choir will present selections such as “A Million Dreams” from “The Greatest Showman,” “The Best of Owl City,” and other songs. Selections from the band will include music from “Shrek,” “El Tiburon,” and more. The Cotter junior high jazz band will perform the theme from “James Bond” and the best of Queen. The Cotter junior high show choir will sing “Get Back Up Again.”
Andy Meurer is the junior high band director and Cathy Snyder is the junior high choir director.
The concert is open to the public and there is no admission fee.
