• At 6:33 p.m. officers ticketed Michael George Cross, 28, of Winona, with misdemeanor theft at Fleet Farm.

Saturday, December 7

• At 1:43 a.m. officers arrested Jonathan Duane Hanson, 53, of Hanska, Minn., and referred him to the county attorney for potential charges of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on East Sarnia and Hamilton streets.

• At 2:44 a.m. officers arrested Kevin Jay Hutter, 29, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of third-degree driving while intoxicated after reportedly stopping him for pulling out in front of another vehicle on Huff Street and West Broadway. A breath test reportedly measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.12 percent.

• At 8:02 a.m. a Winona man reported that at some point in the last week, someone stole nine to 10 long guns from his garage on the 150 block of West Fifth Street.

• At 4:11 p.m. officers ticketed Denise Anne Dionysius, 57, of Winona, with violating a harassment restraining order on the 1700 block of West Broadway. Officers mailed the ticket to Dionysius.

• At 8:30 p.m. officers ticketed Michael George Cross, 28, of Winona, with theft by shoplifting at Walmart. Cross reportedly took a Blu Ray DVD player and sound bar with a combined value of about $347.90. Officers mailed the ticket to Cross.

Sunday, December 8

• At 2:48 a.m. officers arrested Bo Robert Huss, 23, of Neenah, Wis., and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of third-degree driving while intoxicated. According to the report, a citizen reported that a vehicle was being driven the wrong way in a lane of traffic near Highway 43 and Honey Locust Lane. A breath test reportedly measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.19 percent.

• At 7:20 a.m. officers ticketed Brently Steven Johnson, 57, of Winona, with tampering with vehicles and theft after a citizen reported that Johnson was going through vehicles on the 250 block of Lafayette Street.

• At 12:20 p.m. a Winona man reported that someone stole the tailgate off his pickup truck and a portable heater at some point overnight on the 450 block of Lafayette Street.

Monday, December 9

• At 9:37 a.m. a Winona woman reported that some packages were stolen from her porch on the 350 block of Oak Street.

• At 11:58 a.m. a Winona man reported that someone broke out a window at an auto center on the 150 block of Walnut Street at some point over the weekend.

Tuesday, December 10

• At 1:06 a.m. officers arrested Jesse Dallan Boden, 23, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of fourth-degree driving while intoxicated on East Third and Lafayette streets. A breath test reportedly measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.15 percent.

Friday, December 6

• At 1:30 p.m. deputies responded to a report that a horse-drawn sleigh flipped over on the 14000 block of Wagon Wheel Drive. Icy conditions may have contributed to the sleigh flipping over, according to the report. At the scene, deputies discovered that a 20-year-old woman may have broken her ankle. The woman was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital, according to the report.

Saturday, December 7

• At 12:21 a.m. deputies arrested John Wesley Jones Jr., 55, of Arcadia, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of fourth-degree driving while intoxicated. According to the report, deputies were contacted after Winona Police Department officers stopped Jones on Huff and West Fifth streets for having a headlight that was not working and noticed an odor of alcohol. A breath test reportedly measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.08 percent.

Monday, December 9

• At 2:17 p.m. a La Crosse, Wis., man was driving a vehicle that reportedly went off the road and rolled over near Highway 61 and County Road 9. He was transported to Winona Health for the treatment of minor injuries, according to the report.
