Winona Health is reserving early morning lab hours Monday through Friday for non-COVID-related laboratory services.
The Winona Health outpatient laboratory on the first floor of the Winona Clinic opens on weekday mornings at 6:30. The hours from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. are reserved for patients coming in for routine labs, those who are elderly, those at high risk or immunocompromised and others who would like to have their laboratory services conducted during non-COVID-19 testing hours.
All are welcome, including those coming in for COVID testing who do not have symptoms, at Winona Health’s outpatient lab from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Those coming for COVID-19 testing who have symptoms related to COVID-19 are directed to a different area within Winona Health.
Winona Health has effective preventive measures in place: good masking protocols, physical distancing, minimizing close contact, and in-person screening at the entrances. All patients/visitors/staff are quickly directed to the service area needed. This can be someone with flu-like symptoms, cough, COVID-19 symptoms, any infectious process, or those who are seeking chronic condition management and/or are healthy and seeking care.
