Damage

Saturday, November 22

"At 4:53 p.m., Nathan Baures, 28, of West 5th Street reported that his truck had been damaged while it was parked on the street. The left side of the front fender was damaged.

Miscellaneous

Tuesday, November 9

"At 7:50 p.m. at the East Recreation Center, a 12-year-old juvenile male punched another juvenile male in the face. The aggressor was recently charged with 5th degree assault.

Monday, November 22

"At 1:23 p.m. authorities found graffiti on the new bike bridge at Highway 14 and Gilmore Avenue. Spray painted on the bridge were the words J-Train, Flip and 401am Productions.

Tuesday, November 23

"At 10:57 p.m. on the 100 block of Winona Street, Brian Malinkey, 23, of Winona was charged with domestic assault. Malinkey has a prior domestic conviction.

Monday, November 22

"At 4:15 p.m. Stanley Gozdal, of Stockton, reported that a brick had been thrown through his son's bedroom window on Sunday, Nov. 21. The cost of replacing the window is estimated at $200-$300.

Traffic

Tuesday, November 23

"At 10:10 a.m. the Winona County Sheriff's Department and Houston County responded to a rollover accident on County Road 5 near the county line in New Hartford Township. It was unclear who was driving the vehicle. A female was taken to the hospital.

"At 10:36 p.m. the Winona County Sheriff's Department responded to an injury accident on County Road 105. John Larkie, 18, of Houston, said he swerved to miss a deer, went into the ditch and hit a tree. Larkie was taken to the hospital by a private party.

Tuesday, November 23

"At 3:27 p.m. Dan Brand, of Lewiston, reported that at 7 a.m. he had discovered that his pen-raised breeding buck had been shot on his property. The buck appeared to have been killed by a small caliber bullet. Since it was a breeding buck and part of the stock, the buck was estimated to be worth $10,000.
