Winona Police
Friday, September 14
· At 8:43 a.m a Winona man reported that some prescription medication and a TomTom GPS system were stolen from his vehicle on the 300 block of East Fifth Street.
· At 1:58 p.m. a Winona woman reported that her fence was damaged and a carpet was left in her yard on the 300 block of Harriet Street.
· At 4:14 p.m. a Winona man reported items missing from his garage on the 1050 block of Gale Street.

Saturday, September 15
· At 10:11 a.m. a Winona man reported several packages stolen from the front steps of his residence on the 60 block of West Sarnia Street.
· At 2:45 p.m. a Winona man reported the theft of a passport, citizenship papers, clothing and loose change from his unlocked vehicle in the Golden China parking lot.
· At 10:50 p.m. police ticketed Alexander P. Dibacco, 22, of Winona, for hosting a loud party.
· At 11:17 p.m. a Winona woman reported that someone had broken a window at her residence on the 440 block of West Ninth Street. She reportedly followed three individuals, one of whom punched several more windows.

Sunday, September 16
· At 12:02 a.m. a Winona woman reported that four boys had gone into the garage of her residence on the 400 block of Chatfield Street. Police arrived as the boys were leaving and nothing was missing from the scene.
· At 12:19 a.m. police cited Andrew Olena Henry, 34, of Winona, with fifth-degree domestic assault causing fear and fifth-degree domestic assault causing harm after she reportedly punched her roommate multiple times, causing a cut under the victim’s right eye.
· At 12:49 a.m. a Winona woman reported that a man had punched her and another man then after after she attempted to intervene in an argument on the 150 block of West Sanborn Street.
· At 6:57 a.m. a Winona woman reported that she had been sexually assaulted the night before by two men. The men reportedly drove up in a van, pulled her into an alley and assaulted her before leaving. Police are currently investigating the report.
· At 3:20 p.m. police cited Maurice Darnell Smith, 34, of Minneapolis, Minn., with fifth-degree domestic assault causing harm after he allegedly pushed a woman into a closet.
· At 5:22 p.m. a woman reported that her apartment on the 250 block of East Third Street was burglarized. The stolen items include a machete, an HP laptop, an electric guitar, a 12-pack of toilet paper, a Gray’s Anatomy DVD box set, a Zelda Nintendo DSi XL, a Nintendo Switch, a copy of Legend of Zelda for Switch, and a red God of War edition Playstation 3.

Monday, September 17
· At 12:42 a.m. police ticketed Brandon Chandler Lamberson, 19, of Winona, with possession of a small amount of marijuana in a vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop near the intersection of Lake and Dacota streets.
· At 11:42 a.m. police cited Jason Aaron Kapustik, 34, of Winona, with violation of domestic abuse no-contact order he was reportedly found in the same house as the victim.
· At 3:56 p.m. a Winona woman reported that a neighbor’s tree collapsed into her home at Hillsdale Court. The cost of the damage is not yet known.
· At 8:39 p.m. police cited Jermal Alonzo McCarter, 24, of Chicago, Ill., with gross-misdemeanor assault after he reportedly punched a man in the face, then allegedly interfered with the emergency call.
· At 11:45 p.m. an Winona woman reported a subject peering into her window at a residence on 450 West Fifth Street. The subject was gone when police arrived.

Winona County Sheriff
Friday, September 14

· At 9:18 p.m. deputies stopped a driver for allegedly speeding on County Road 101. The driver, Dawn Marie Warren, 60, of Winona, reportedly showed signs of intoxication and was cited with fourth-degree driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content measured at .13 percent.

Saturday, September 15
· At 3:38 p.m. four cows and four calves were reported loose on Owl’s Nest Road. The owner was called in to corral the animals.
· At 6:23 p.m. deputies cited Kirk Patrick Peterson, 56, of Lewiston, with fourth-degree driving under the influence of a controlled substance, fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of needles and possession of stolen property after a traffic stop on Highway 61 near Fathom Lane. He was reportedly stopped for having a suspended object in the rear-view mirror.
· At 10:24 p.m. deputies cited Megan Marie Freeman, 25, of Sparta, Wis., with fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after she capsized a boat on the Mississippi River near Lock and Dam 7. Freeman reportedly had a blood-alcohol content measured at .08 percent.
· At 10:54 p.m. deputies cited Mandy Marie Jaskole, 20, of Minnesota City, with burning garbage in the Hidden Valley Trailer Court.

Sunday, September 16
· At 11:17 a.m. six goats were reportedly found having taken residence in a culvert on I-90 after having escaped three days earlier. Deputies assisted the owner in loading the animals into a trailer and bringing them home.

Monday, September 17
· At 6:52 p.m. deputies cited Justin John Stoltman, 32, of Winona, with gross-misdemeanor driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content measured at .15 percent.

Tuesday, September 18
· At 1:10 a.m. police in St. Charles cited Jack Edward Cole, 43, of Winona, with second-degree driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content measured at .25 percent. The passenger of the vehicle, Christine Kay Dahle, 49, of Stewartville, Minn., was later cited with fourth-degree driving while intoxicated when she allegedly attempted to drive her own vehicle with a blood-alcohol content measured at .12 percent.
