Go Red for Women

The American Heart Association and Winona Health encourage you to wear red to increase awareness about heart health. If you’re due for a checkup, make the call and schedule an appointment with a healthcare provider. Learn about heart disease risk factors and get heart-healthy tips at www.goredforwomen.org.

Pillowcase Sewing Bee
Monday, February 5, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Winona Health, BA Miller Auditorium, hospital third floor, 855 Mankato Ave., Winona, Minn.

Colorful, handcrafted pillowcases are bringing smiles to surgery patients at Winona Health. Volunteers are invited to join the sewing bee to cut material, iron, fold, and sew for an hour or two — or all day. If you have questions about the sewing day, email rltrombetta@gmail.com. Donations are also accepted for the Sewing Fund through the Winona Health Foundation If you have any questions, call 507-474-3328.

Free Music Monday with Larry Langen
Monday, February 5, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. at Watkins Great Hall, 175 East Wabasha Street, Winona, Minn.

Community members are welcome. Come early or stay after the music if interested in touring Senior Living at Watkins. To schedule a private tour at another date, or for more information about Senior Living or Free Music Mondays, call 507-494-7400.

All about Baby
Tuesday, February 6, from 12-1:30 p.m. at Winona Health, Women’s Health, clinic third floor, 859 Mankato Ave., Winona, Minn.

This is a weekly drop-in group for parents to weigh their baby, get answers to questions and meet other parents. New parents and expecting parents are welcome. Facilitator is Robyn Hinz RN, IBCLC. If you have any questions, or are interested in evening group, call 507-457-7736.
