Mildred A. Manfredi, 83, Winona, and formerly of White Plains, N.Y., died Saturday, December 29, 2007, at Lake Winona Manor.
Mildred was born October 26, 1924, in Trempealeau, Wis., to John and Helen (Jereczek) Walski. On August 19, 1944, she married Mario Manfredi at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pine Creek, Wis.
She worked at Schraffts and Nestles in New York for many years. On July 21, 2004, she came back to Winona and lived at Lake Winona Manor.
Mildred is survived by her brothers, George (Dorothy) Walski of Galesville, Wis., and John Walski Jr. of Trempealeau; a brother-in-law, Harry Price, of Philadelphia, Pa.; nephews, George (Liz) Price, and Harry (Janet) Price Jr., both of Boothwyn, Pa.; nieces, Diane (Tony) Wagner and Linda (Chuck) Glowcheski, both of Trempealeau, and Anita (Brian) Lilla and Kris (Fran) Teske, both of Galesville, Wis.; great-nieces and great-nephews; her very dear friend and roommate, Betty Schmidt, as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mario, her parents, a sister, Gertrude Price, and an infant sister.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, January 1, at Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, with Father Bill Kulas officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Mount Calvary Cemetery, White Plains, N.Y.
