Week seventeen is by far one of the trickiest weeks to predict performance. Playoff teams are resting their studs while others are more concerned about getting to their vacation destination.
That is why, for many of you, this week is none existent. But, for a few of us diehards, there is one last week of gut-wrenching decision making.
Let’s take a look at two simple strategies that you can use when setting up your week seventeen line-up.
The first - and probably most obvious - strategy would be to start players in games that still have a ton of meaning. The Denver/San Diego game definitely fits into that category
On top of that, both teams have sketchy defenses and explosive offenses. Get all your Broncos and Chargers in your line-up and look for a ton of scoring in the regular season finale.
Next, avoid games with little or no meaning for the two teams involved.
For instance, it is hard to imagine any of the top players in the Tennessee/Indianapolis game playing a full game when both teams do not have much to gain by winning. I kind of get the feeling that this game will resemble those edge-of-your-seat preseason games we have to sit through every August.
Anyway, that should do it. See you next week. I have a few strategies for those of you looking to play a little post-season fantasy. Oh, and have a very Merry Christmas.
