Winona County Community Clinics - free H1N1 vaccine

Winona County Community Health Services will hold three H1N1 vaccination clinics during January 2010 for the general public.

Clinic dates and locations are:

January 12, 2010 (Tuesday) - Winona County Community Health Office, 60 West Third St., Winona MN

Time: 10 am to noon

January 20, 2010 (Wednesday) - Winona County Community Health Office, 60 West Third St., Winona MN

Time: 2 pm to 4 pm

January 26, 2010 (Tuesday) -Winona County Community Health Office, 60 West Third St., Winona MN

Time: 2 pm to 4 pm

Free H1N1 vaccine is available for all persons ages 6 months and older. The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) encourages all people to get the H1N1 vaccine. MDH states “We need to reach all age groups at this time for the protection of ALL Minnesota.”

The clinics are on a first come, first serve basis with no charge for vaccination of eligible persons. Children must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian. H1N1 Vaccination Clinics will be scheduled as we have vaccine available.

The Winona County Community Health Services will take appointments from individuals who are unable to come to a clinic. Appointments are available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during the hours of 10:30-11:30 a.m. or 2:30-3:30 p.m. Call 507-457-6400 and follow the directions to make an appointment.
