Police referred a Winona man to the county attorney for possible charges of possessing child pornography following a search warrant that yielded pornographic images of children.

Walker Shilo-Edwards Robeson, 18, was referred for charges this week after police raided his home in August.

Police were informed by Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force members of internet evidence linked to Robeson’s home. ICAC and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation, along with a Goodview Police Officer who is also an ICAC member, helped use special software to search for content among a suspected group, uncovering evidence that Robeson’s computer may contain pornographic images of children.

Police seized a computer at Robeson’s home and found three pornographic files. The first file contained one image, the second contained a video of unknown length, and the third was an approximate 9 minute video, police said.
