On March 20, the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department received a call of a two vehicle accident on USH53/54/93 in the Township of Gale.
A 2012 Nissan Juke driven by Amber Pfaff, 24, of Galesville, Wis., with a passenger, Samira Collins, 18, of Galesville, was stopped on Hwy. 53 facing south and signaling a left turn into a private driveway, while waiting for northbound traffic to clear. A 1994 Toyota Corolla driven by Brooke Clements, 19, of LaCrosse, Wis., with a passenger and the owner of the car, Chelsea Gilbertson, 21, of Melrose, Wis., rear-ended the Pfaff vehicle. Pfaff, Collins, and Clements were transported to a hospital by Tri-State Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. All occupants were treated at the scene by the Galesville First Responders, Galesville Fire Department, and Tri-State Ambulance. The Galesville Police Department also assisted at the crash scene.
