Free Music Monday with Larry Langen

Monday, January 2, 2:30-3:30 p.m., Watkins Great Hall, 175 East Wabasha (Seventh) Street, Winona, Minn.

Community members are welcome. Come early or stay after the music if you’re interested in touring Senior Living at Watkins. To schedule a private tour at another date, or for more information about Senior Living or Free Music Mondays, call 507-494-7400.

 

Emotions Anonymous Support Group

Monday, January 2, 7-8:30 p.m., Winona Health, Lake Winona Manor Classroom, 865 Mankato Avenue.

An Emotions Anonymous group leader guides this weekly support group to help women cope with the stress of daily living. This group does not meet on holidays or when school is canceled due to weather. Meetings are free, but please call 507-459-9654 if you plan to attend.

 

All about Baby

Tuesday, January 3, 12-1:30 p.m., Winona Health, Women’s Health Center, clinic third floor, 859 Mankato Avenue. 

This is a weekly drop-in group for parents to weigh their baby, get answers to questions and meet other parents. New parents and expecting parents are welcome. Facilitators are Robyn Hinz, RN, IBCLC, and Shala Corey, RN. Those with questions or interest in an evening group may call 507-457-7701.

 

Smoking Cessation

Thursday, January 5, 6-7:30 p.m., Winona Health, Parkview Conference Room, 855 Mankato Avenue.

NAMI Family Mental Illness Support Group

Monday, January 9, 7-8:30 p.m., Winona Health, Parkview Conference Room, hospital first floor, 855 Mankato Avenue. 

Do you have a loved one living with a mental illness? This support group offers information, respect, encouragement, understanding and hope. The group meets on the second Monday each month. Meetings are free, just walk in and join. Those with questions may call Helen Newell at 507-459-2230.

MomMe Time 

Support Group

Tuesday, January 10, 5-7 p.m., Winona Health, Parkview Conference Room, hospital first floor, 855 Mankato Avenue. 

This is a guided peer support group surrounding postpartum depression facilitated by Maria Pellowski, BSN, RN. Topics include postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, psychosis, symptoms and treatment. This is an opportunity to connect with other parents and discuss concerns in a supportive, nonjudgmental group environment. MomMe Time meets on the second Tuesday of each month (unless it is a holiday). Those with questions may call 507-450-3054.
