Build a bird feeder at Houston Nature Center


Feed your feathered friends in the cold winter months by making your very own bird feeder on January 7! The Houston Nature Center will provide the materials and teach you about some of the more common backyard birds, including which birds prefer which foods! This is a great program for kids of all ages. The program is led by local naturalist, Kyle TePoel, who has worked with all ages of nature lovers during his work at National Park Service, Audubon Society, and various schools and nature centers. 

The program will be held at the Houston Nature Center, 215 West Plum Street, Houston, at 3 p.m. The fee is $3 per participant. RSVPs are appreciated by calling 507-896-4668 or emailing
