Project FINE (Focus on Integrating Newcomers through Education) was recently awarded a $15,000 grant from the Sheltering Arms Foundation for the Kid’s Culture Club program. The Kid’s Culture Club will meet weekly during the school year in collaboration with the Kids First after-school program. The goal of the project is to help youth increase their knowledge of other cultures and promote a welcoming community.
Since 1883, Sheltering Arms Foundation has been embracing and caring for Minnesota children. It invests in the lives of Minnesota’s children to help them reach their full potential. It funds nonprofit organizations and support policies that benefit children and their families who have the least access to resources.
Project FINE would like to thank the Sheltering Arms Foundation for its support of the Kid’s Cultural Club and Kids First for its collaboration on this project, as their support allows Project FINE to fulfill its mission: to strengthen and enrich the community by facilitating the integration of people who are ethnically diverse.
