Family Restaurant raises funds for Crime Stoppers
Winona Area Crime Stoppers received $3,119.24 in donations from a fundraiser at Winona Family Restaurant on March 6. The Crime Stoppers local board thanks Vinnie Mustafoski, owner of Winona Family Restaurant, for generously giving 100 percent of the day’s food and drink sales to Crime Stoppers. It was the largest single donation received by Winona Area Crime Stoppers in recent history. The board also thanks the patrons who ate at Winona Family Restaurant on March 6 and those who contributed to a donation jar. The money raised will be used to help Crime Stoppers’ efforts to provide rewards to anonymous citizens who provide tips and information that lead to arrests and convictions of crimes. Crime Stoppers began in 1987 and has assisted law enforcement agencies with solving numerous cases. To provide a tip, call 457-6530 or visit the website at www.winonaareacrimestoppers.com.
