The Winona Development Achievement Center (DAC) has been selected as the 2018 Winona State University awardee for the Minnesota Campus Compact and President’s Community Partner Award. The Winona DAC was selected because of its excellent work in making Winona and Winona State University a better place for all. The DAC has partnered with Winona State University’s social work program for years, and provides field experience placement and internship opportunities for WSU students.
The Winona DAC will be recognized at WSU’s annual Civic Engagement Award Ceremony on Tuesday, April 3, from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Student Activity Center located in the lower level of Kryzsko Commons.
In addition, the Winona DAC will also attend the statewide summit and awards luncheon on Thursday, April 19, at Hamline University in St. Paul. Information about the summit can be found at http://mncampuscompact.org/event/2017-state-summit-and-awards-luncheon/.
