Spring Fling Barn Dance: A fundraiser for WAPS grades 4-12 orchestra programs

(3/28/2018)

The Spring Fling Barn Dance will be on Friday, April 6, from 6:30-9 p.m. at Goodview Elementary School (5100 West Ninth Street). It is sponsored by Strings in Motion and the Winona Senior High School Orchestra.

All dances will be taught; no partner is necessary. Children are welcome with adult participation. It is said if you can walk and know your right and left hand, you can learn these dances, which are fun for all ages! Sue Hulsether teaches and calls the dances, and live music is preformed by Adam Kiesling, Reyna Seelhoff, Kristin Young, and Betsy, Matt, and Mike Neil.

Adults and teens cost $8; 12 and under are $3; the cost will be no more than $20 per family.

Money raised from this event will provide help with bus costs for students to attend concerts and music festivals, sponsorship of the Winona Fiddlers, and assistance with the junior/senior spring orchestra trip to New York City.
