Great River Shakespeare Festival (GRSF) invites members of the public to visit its new office at 121 East Third Street for an opening reception on Saturday, November 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be refreshments available and tours of the new space will be given to any visitor who would like one. The GRSF gift shop will also be open and all items will be 16-percent off for Small Business Saturday.
Passes for season 16 at Great River Shakespeare Festival are on sale now and will also be available for purchase on Saturday, November 24. Each pass includes a ticket to four productions: “Macbeth,” “Cymbeline,” “The Servant of Two Masters” and “No Child …” Season pass holders may choose dates and seats as soon as their pass has been purchased. Pass holders who purchase their pass before the end of the 2018 calendar year will be mailed a voucher for a free extra ticket in early 2019. Pass holders can also purchase additional tickets at a 20-percent discount.
Great River Shakespeare Festival is a nonprofit, professional equity theater company in Winona dedicated to dynamic productions of Shakespeare’s plays, extensive education and community outreach programs, and comprehensive theater training. Its production season has become a staple in the Winona arts scene since its inception 16 years ago.
