Michael John Mohr, 45, of Winona, is on trial at the Winona County District Courthouse this week for allegedly sexually assaulting a child under 13 years of age on an ongoing basis in 2012. Winona Police Department officers received a report back in August 2016 from an adult who had talked to the child. In a forensic interview in 2016, the child reported that Mohr had allegedly assaulted her on four occasions in 2012, according to the criminal complaint. Prosecutors charged Mohr with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, which are punishable by up to 30 years in prison each.
