The Winona Community Foundation’s (WCF) Board of Directors has hired Beth Forkner Moe as the foundation’s interim executive director. Moe will assist current staff and the board with day-to-day operations including the granting cycle, donor relations, and fiscal management. Moe has worked in the nonprofit sector for more than two decades, locally and regionally. She assisted multiple nonprofit organizations with issues including communications and public relations, governance, board and staff development, strategic planning, conflict resolution, collaboration, grant writing and reporting, program and project development and management, and disaster preparedness and response. In the Winona community with which Moe has been involved, among others, Habitat for Humanity, Engage Winona, the Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce, and United Way. She and her husband have lived in Winona since 1996.
