Know Your Neighbor kicks off at the East End Rec Center on May 30, including free food, activities, East Side bingo!

Know Your Neighbor, a fun summertime event series hosted by the Winona Rotary Club and Leighton Broadcasting, kicks off on Thursday, May 30, at the East End Rec from 5-7 p.m.

There will be free food provided by Hy-Vee, swag bags, and many activities in which the community may participate, including a bouncy house, Park and Rec games and more! Engage Winona and the East End Neighborhood Project will be providing East Side Bingo, a free and family-friendly game where players can stamp East Side places and icons on their cards and win prizes!

There will also be a community fair, where dozens of area organizations and nonprofits will be sharing information about their good work and providing giveaways and activities — learn more about all these great community organizations and how to get involved!
The event is free and open to all, especially to the East Side and East End neighborhoods. The event will be held rain or shine, with plenty of room inside the East End Rec for folks to gather. Come on out, enjoy the food and activities, and take the opportunity to meet your neighbors!

Future Know Your Neighbor events this summer will be held on Thursday, June 2, from 5-7 p.m. at the Lake Park Jaycee Pavilion, and on Thursday, July 25, from 5-7 p.m. at the Goodview Pavilion.
