Trapper Schoepp at Island City Brewery

He’s become famous this year for “On Wisconsin,” a song co-written by Bob Dylan that closes his latest record and has been gaining attention from Rolling Stone ever since its release. Not only that, but Trapper Schoepp has been opening for Frank Turner and Reckless Kelly in Europe and North America these past few months. His new album, “Primetime Illusion,” was produced in Milwaukee, Wis., by Patrick Sansone (Wilco, Robyn Hitchcock) and is packed with “intelligent songwriting with dazzling guitar lines and punchy rock melodies giving vibes of M. Ward with a touch of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in the ‘70s and ‘80s.”

Come and see Schoepp at Island City Brewery on Sunday, June 16, from 5-8 p.m.
