June 12

The Winona County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) Board of Supervisors will hold its regular monthly board meeting on Wednesday, June 12, at 9 a.m. at Winona County USDA Service Center, 400 Wilson Street North in Lewiston.

June 19

Harvest House will meet on Wednesday, June 19, for its annual picnic in the basement of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka. Mass will be at 1 p.m., with the business meeting to follow. Please bring a food item for a needy family. The group will be playing bingo. New members are always welcome. For more information, call Bonnie at 454-2717. After the picnic, Harvest House recesses for the summer. Meetings will resume in September.

June 23

Do you love to sing old-time gospel songs and hymns? Come check out the Because He Lives Gospel Chorale at its open house on Sunday, June 23, from 2-4 p.m. at Central Lutheran Church on Huff Street in Winona. There will be a meet-and-greet time with refreshments from 2-2:30 p.m. and then, be ready to sing! The group will be singing and sharing information with attendees until 4 p.m. The group is seeking male and female singers in Winona and the surrounding area to join its music ministry. It is a newly formed SATB gospel choir in the process of building membership and welcomes singers of all ages and abilities. Because He Lives currently meets weekly at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays in Grace Hall at Central Lutheran.

The Rollingstone Luxembourg Museum is open on Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

The Goodview Farmers Market will be at the Elk’s Lodge parking lot, 4540 Service Drive, on Thursdays from now through October from 3-6:30.

Elder Network’s general caregiver support group is held on the first Wednesday of each month at 2 p.m. at 51 West Fourth Street, inside the Legacies building.
