Ever wanted to find a job painting, writing, or traveling? We might have the right job for you! Fancy yourself more of an outdoors person? Come to the Nature Store and find out about the jobs that could await you here at Roosevelt Park. Organizers are seeking workers of all experience levels. Sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Conservation, the National Park Service, and the Works Progress Administration. (All job offers expired on December 7, 1941.)
Bats in the bluff lands

Learn about Minnesota’s bat population and the dreaded White Nose Syndrome that threatens their world. Attendees will separate fact from fiction about these fascinating little animals and watch them leave their evening roost atop the visitor center.
Intro to Trout Fishing
Sunday, July 21, 10:30 a.m. to noon
Join at the South Picnic Area for a fun time fishing! Equipment will be provided. Bring your own bait; worms often work best. Fishing licenses are not required during the activity. This program is offered on Sundays through September 2.
