Wabasha County Historical Society is committed to carrying out its mission: to collect, protect, preserve and interpret materials relating to the natural and cultural history of Wabasha County and its people. Therefore, Reads Landing School Museum has announced that it will remain open during regular visiting hours on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 p.m. during the closure of Highway 61 from Lake City to Reads Landing, Minn. Visitors can follow the detour to Reads Landing. As usual, visitors will be able to enjoy the new welcome video highlighting the history of Wabasha County and view a variety of displays, including the “Agricultural History of Wabasha County.” Children are welcome to sit in the school desks and enjoy coloring pages.
All are encouraged to visit www.wabashacountyhistory.org and like Wabasha County Historical Society on Facebook.
