Winona Youth Hockey announces its registration and season opening events. In addition to league play, there are three more opportunities available for area boys and girls: Intro to Hockey, Public Skating, and Open Hockey sessions They are all free.

Immediately following each Intro to Hockey session, a free Public Skate is held, allowing parents and siblings to join their skaters on the ice. Free pop and popcorn are provided. There will be an additional free Public Skate session on Wednesday, September 22, during registration, as well.

Open Hockey sessions are also available at no charge for youth (elementary aged players and younger) and teens (middle school and up) who would like to brush up on skills while playing with kids from their own age group. Safety, skills, and fun are the focus of Open Hockey sessions.
