When you put faith in Jesus Christ as your Saviour, God gives you everlasting life, as we are assured in the 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Gospel message. Being saved, however, is only the beginning of a beautiful, new relationship you have as a believer in Christ. All of the following blessings, and many more, are yours as a free gift (grace) from God the instant you believe the Gospel message.
You are justified: “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith ...” Romans 3:28.
You have peace with God: “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,” Romans 5:1.
You have direct access to God: “By Whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God,” Romans 5:2.
You are given God’s love: “The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us,” Romans 5:5. “But God commendeth [demonstrates] his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us,” Romans 5:8.
You are delivered from wrath: “Much more then, being justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him,” Romans 5:9.
You are reconciled to God: “For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life,” Romans 5:10.
You can have joy in God: “And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom we have now received the atonement,” Romans 5:11.
You are no longer condemned by God: “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,” Romans 8:1.
You are a member of the Body of Christ: “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one Body. Now ye are the Body of Christ, and members in particular,” 1 Corinthians 12:13, 27.
You have the mind of Christ: “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,” Philippians 2:5.
You are sanctified in Christ: “But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, Who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption,” 1 Corinthians 1:30.
You have all spiritual blessings in Christ: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ,” Ephesians 1:3.
You are complete in Christ: “For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power,” Colossians 2:9,10.
God says you are complete in Christ and lack nothing. Relax and enjoy the blessings of God’s grace.
