Winona native, Sarah Landman, is named to the prestigious 40 Under 40 leaders of Southwest Florida. Landman, 38, serves as the senior vice president of the philanthropy division at NewsBank, inc., headquartered in Naples, Fla.
Landman is an experienced as a major gift officer and leader of two national fundraising consulting firms. Landman helped to raise more than $500 million throughout her tenure. She says NewsBank’s philanthropy product, insightful, could be a game-changer for nonprofits. “Insightful is a new software that helps nonprofits know more about donors, prospects and the topics they care about,” said Landman. “The goal is to promote better philanthropic engagement.”

Landman is a graduate of Cotter Schools and of Saint Mary’s University where she earned a B.A. in theater and M.A. in philanthropy and development.
In addition to her work with insightful, Landman also writes and speaks on the topic of millennial philanthropy at regional and national meetings and conferences. She also serves on the board of Catholic Charities of Collier County. She and her husband, Murl, live in Naples, Fla., with their two children.
