Winter Geocaching
Saturday, December 16, from 12:30-2 p.m.

Enjoy a high-tech treasure hunt in winter! After a short indoor presentation, the group will venture out into the park to find a hidden cache. If there is enough snow, they will snowshoe. Bring your own snowshoes or use the park’s.

We Are Water Minnesota Exhibit

Saturday, December 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We are Water Minnesota is a local piece of the Smithsonian’s Think Water initiative to raise awareness of water as a critical resource for life through exhibitions, educational resources and public programs. The exhibit will be on display at Whitewater State Park through December. Docents will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to guide visitors through the interactive exhibits.

Beavers in Winter
Saturday, December 30, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Come learn how beavers survive the long winters. After a short indoor presentation, the group will hike to look for beaver signs in the park.

We Are Water Minnesota Exhibit
Saturday, December 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This is the last weekend to see the We Are Water Minnesota exhibit at Whitewater State Park. Docents will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to guide visitors through the inter-active exhibits.
