National Hospital Week is another opportunity to visit, share and connect

Winona Health, one of the nation’s Top 100 Rural and Community Hospitals, is celebrating 125 years of community-focused care in 2019.

During National Hospital Week, May 12-19, and every day, Winona Health welcomes community members to enjoy healthy, delicious and reasonably-priced meals at the Lakeside Café on the hospital first floor, 855 Mankato Avenue in Winona.

“Community members are welcome to dine in our Lakeside Café anytime — they don’t have to be visiting a hospitalized friend or family member,” said Tanya Johnson, food and nutrition services operations manager. “Winona Health is part of the community, and everyone is welcome here.”

Lakeside Café, overlooking the beautiful Robinson Healing Garden, is open every day from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Breakfast is available from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., lunch is featured from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and dinner is served from 4:30-6:30 p.m. (weekends and holidays from 5-6:30 p.m.).
