This program provides information about the need for and benefits of having a health care directive. The primary purpose of a health care directive is to allow individuals to retain control over their care, even after losing the ability to speak on their own behalf. Certified Winona Health volunteers facilitate the program with participants using authorized forms. The session covers Minnesota and Wisconsin health care directives. A follow-up session to offer assistance will be held two weeks later at the same time and location. This class is free and open to the public; no registration is required. For more information call 507-457-4342.
