A Thrilling Night of Poe
Enjoy an evening at the Winona Public Library with Theatre du Mississippi performing three works of Edgar Allan Poe’s — “The Raven,” “The Telltale Heart,” and “The Cask of Amontillado” — on Friday, October 25, at 7 p.m. In between each tale, audience members will learn about Poe’s life and how it relates to his works.
This is a free event and open to the public. A cash bar is available. The library’s original front entrance will be available for entry.
Donations encouraged but not required. All donations will go toward Theatre du Mississippi.
Giant Scrabble Game Night
Do you love the game of scrabble? Have you ever played it on a giant game board before?
Now is your chance to try it out at Island City Brewing Company (65 East Front Street) on Wednesday, October 23, from 6-7:30 p.m. You and your friends can hop into a lightning round of Scrabble while you grab a brew of your choice.
The Winona Public Library is haunting its third floor stacks on Tuesday, October 29, from 4:30-6 p.m. All ages are invited to walk through the haunted floor.
